A certain well known academic hosting site has recently imposed some user terms and conditions that were unacceptable to me, and many of my colleagues in the profession, so I closed my account.

How, then, can people access my papers for their personal study use? Well, I can make use of this blog starting with my first publication in philosophy dating from 1997. The topic is, ironically, the same as that of my most recent book: the ethical relevance of the first person.
